Gareth Bale moves to Los Angeles FC

Ex-Spurs and Real Madrid winger Bale ‘agrees’ one-year contract with MLS side LAFC.

Forward is looking to maintain his fitness ahead of Wales’ appearance at the 2022 World Cup.

“I am extremely excited for this move to LAFC. This is the right place for me and my family and the right time in my career, and I cannot wait to get started working with the team and getting ready to win more trophies in Los Angeles.” – Bale – Forward.

The Wales captain helped Los Blancos win five Champions League titles during his time in the Spanish capital. He follows Italian defender Giorgio Chiellini to Los Angeles after he agreed a deal following his exit from Juventus.

Ahead of Wales’ qualification to this winter’s World Cup, Bale was eager to find a club quickly and the report adds that he had ‘numerous clubs’ hoping to secure his services.
